1. Purpose and Scope
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders shipped by me (the seller) from AtlasQuest via atlasquest.cv. This includes all items sold on the site, returns, and exchanges. My goal is to ensure your items are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, providing you with a positive experience.
2. Selection of Carriers
I partner with reputable logistics providers who hold valid transportation qualifications and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Carriers are chosen based on their service quality, reliability, coverage area, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Shipping Methods
Standard Areas: Orders are typically shipped via reliable express carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Priority Mail, DHL).
Remote/Harder-to-Reach Areas: Depending on the destination, shipments may be routed via services like USPS or other carriers best suited for the location.
Special Items: Items that are high-value, fragile, oversized, require temperature control, or are classified as hazardous will be shipped using appropriate specialized services or carriers as necessary.
4. Shipping Timeframes (Processing & Transit)
Processing: Orders are typically processed and handed off to the carrier within 1-3 business days of payment confirmation, unless otherwise noted on the product page (e.g., “pre-order,” “made to order,” “ships in 7 days”).
Transit: Transit times vary significantly depending on the shipping method selected at checkout, the destination, and carrier performance. Estimated delivery windows provided by carriers are guides, not guarantees.
Weekends/Holidays: Orders placed on weekends or US public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
5. Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, package weight and dimensions, and the selected shipping service.
The exact shipping cost for your order will be clearly displayed and charged during the checkout process before you finalize payment.
Free Shipping: I may occasionally offer free standard shipping promotions. Details will be clearly stated on the website.
Remote Area Surcharges: Shipments to certain remote or international destinations may incur additional carrier surcharges. These will be displayed at checkout if applicable.
International Duties & Taxes: For international orders, any applicable customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. I cannot predict or control these charges.
6. Return & Exchange Shipping Responsibilities
My Error (Wrong/Damaged/Defective Item): If I sent the incorrect item, or if an item arrives damaged or defective, I will cover the cost of return shipping and the cost to ship the replacement or refund.
Change of Mind / Unwanted Item: If you wish to return or exchange an item for reasons like size, color, or simply changing your mind (within the stated return window, typically 7-14 days of receipt, unused and in original condition), you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. I will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item (for exchanges).
Refused/Undeliverable Due to Incorrect Address: If a package is refused or cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or insufficient address provided by you, you will be responsible for any associated return shipping fees or reshipping costs.
7. Risk of Loss & Title
Responsibility for the items (risk of loss or damage) transfers to you once the carrier takes possession of the package for delivery.
8. Prohibited & Restricted Items
I comply with all applicable national and international regulations regarding prohibited and restricted items. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any items they order comply with the laws of their destination country/region. Certain items sold on AtlasQuest may have shipping restrictions (e.g., batteries, liquids); these will be noted on the product page.
9. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking number and a link to track your package on the carrier’s website.
10. Force Majeure
I am not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond my reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, severe weather, or significant carrier service disruptions.

I reserve the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page (atlasquest.cv/shipping-policy) with the effective date clearly marked.
